Local 2029, with the support of the City of Rye residents, has been raising funds for various charitable organizations for many years. In the past we have supported national organizations like Jerry's Kids and the National MS Society. However, we felt that our efforts we be more beneficial on a local level, so, for the past eight years, along with some of the Professional Fire Fighter locals of Westchester County, we have been committed to raising funds for the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.

To the right is a yearly breakdown of the funds we have donated thus far to the hospital.

These funds have been raised in various ways. You have probably seen us in December, standing on the streets of downtown Rye holding our fill the boot drive. We have also done raffles as well as raised funds at the Rye Fire Department golf outing.
